Naomi & Justin
Justin Robin and Naomi Sharpley met while standing in line at the Gunn Island Hotel (now the Middle Park Hotel.) on grand final night In 2005, Justin proposed down on bended knee on the banks of the Swan River, Western Australia, In April 2007 on the way to a romantic dinner. The couple were sold on a tropical beach wedding after seeing friends Hamilton Island wedding photos and hearing how easy it was to organise the event online. Their Wedding was a week long party for the 81 friends and family members who enjoyed poolside cocktails, long lunches and snorkelling while getting to know each other.
Naomi and Justin loved the Idea of a beach side ceremony and the bamboo and chiffon chuppah was perfect - simple yet classically romantic. The party continued at the Outrigger's permanent open marquee on the foreshore of the beach. The newlyweds danced to a melody of Eric CIapton's Wonderful Tonight (rhumba) and Jet's Are you Gonna be my girl (swing) With two lifts and full choreography, the fun performance was great entertainment.
Justin and Naomi honeymooned around the Whitsundays for seven days on a solo yacht trip followed by three days of pampering at the Airlie Beach Coral Sea Resort.
